Orange

Taking up the ‘sassy’ aspect of Michelle’s challenge this week and include a variety of subjects. The region of the Cedarberg (two hours drive north of Cape Town) is a place where the mountains weather in glorious shades of orange or the San rock art paintings predominate in tones of ochre.  Here rooibos (redbush) tea is grown, and the locals make products like the soap tablets.  Oranges are also cultivated in the area, and the balloon?  A bit of whimsy, as the dog sports her favourite toy.

    1. It’s a very good soap, from the Red Cedar range – gentle on the skin. Shea butter, essential oils and extracts of rooibos. It has great antioxidant properties – good for treating eczema too.
