I cannot believe she is so close! So when a baboon bites a tourist for invading its space and behaving unreasonably, the baboon gets destroyed. Does the tourist get fined? Makes me so cross!
No fines! It’s long been a grievance that the authority assigned to conservation measures, such as fining for feeding or getting too close doesn’t have a presence in the field. City appoints contractors to monitor the baboon troops, so guess they reckon the role of controlling people is secondary.

That’s a shame. A hefty fine might deter some of these idiots and the fines could go to protection of wildlife.
