It is an amazing colour! But it changes depending on wind direction and groundswell turbulence. This surfing spot is Longbeach, Kommetjie – Cape Town. The surf has an odd kink, where the main thrust forms in a southwesterly direction, but there’s a deflection around the point. Further on the coast near Hout Bay is the renowned “Dungeons” – there the waves tower, and to see pix from there is to be truly awe inspired!

I totally envy you to be there. It is absolutely gorgeous. I could spend the rest of my life living there – just staring at the water.
