The photos were shot in St James’ Park in London, but could equally have been taken in my home city – Cape Town, where people also delight in feeding squirrels.  I’m intrigued by the phenomena of people feeding wild creatures.  As urban sprawl encroaches more and more into wild regions, should we be responsible for providing for displaced animals?
