Thanks, WLG. The sticky red stemmed plant is one of our sundews, Drosera capensis. It’s an interesting insectivore, trapping prey by exuding sap, then coiling up on the hapless critter. Nature’s a wonder! Reply
AHHH – how fantastic! I did think the ‘dew’ might be sticky but I didn’t see any corpses, so it didn’t occur to me that it was that type of sticky!
