Wrapping up the day, in the late afternoon a young caller came past the patio doors, a quick look in as if to wish us well on this, a most perfect of Christmas days.

Thanks Bente, and good wishes to you too! Mongoose is still a youngster, and already the birds go nuts when it’s around. They hunt for eggs, lizards, geckos – as long as there are enough to sustain the cycle…. 🙂
