True! Though those troops living up in the higher mountains would have a colder time, and snow some years. Interesting that the inland troops tend to have darker fur, longer limbs. Ours on the coast, specially in summer have bleached out looking fur – like beach goers/ surfers.

Brrr! I feel really sorry for them, Liz, they are sooo wet and cold, they make me shiver too … love the photo’s though, they are stunning!
Yes, it’s a tough time of the year for them. The troops which can shelter in caves are the luckier ones.

Yes, the adults have more bulk and fur…. it’s juveniles and babies that seem to dislike the wet.
