While here in the southern hemisphere we’re presently enjoying the fiery heart of autumn, I’m reminded of northern climes and how spring ushers forth in an exuberance of blossoms. (London 2013).
This week’s challenge is bound to be a colourful one, click hereย to celebrate in a riot of spring shots by the WordPress community.
cherry blossoms are my favorite around this season! i definitely missed it altogether living in the middle of the desert.. but i’m glad i can enjoy them through the lens of others! ๐
Thanks for the comment Esther; yep cherry blossoms must be scarce there in Las Vegas ๐ Sounds like you lead an action packed life!
Gorgeous Liz! However I felt bad for you Aussies when I heard about the theme. Thanks for finding a beautiful spring (and pink!) image to share.
Thanks; am completely in awe of those gorgeous flowering trees ๐ We’re looking forward to our spring here in the Cape, come September – nature puts on some show stopper wild flower scenes… here in South Africa ๐
Oops! Thought you were in Australia! Nevertheless, I was thinking of all of you in the Southern Hemisphere when they announced the theme. ๐

The blossom has been particularly colourful this year ๐
The word ‘blossom’; blossoming conveys much promise. Glad to read that spring is rolling out her colours…..
Lovely pink. ๐
A lovely image!
Thanks Elena.
It does seem a bit unfair to the rest of the world that Spring is the theme for the week when it’s not spring in so many places. But you’ve chosen a beautiful shot that fits the theme perfectly Liz, nicely done!
Thanks Tina; glad to celebrate (visually) your coming of spring! Having followed the long winter and learning new terminology such as an arctic vortex, and snowy owl irruptions… it’s good to see that it’s warming up.
