Here are two shots of the same waterfall but which perspective is more effective? Cheri’s suggestion of experimenting with POV and angle bring a different perspective to each shot. The raw power of the water, versus a wide angle view showing the relative size of the people?

The first shot is fantastic. You get the sense that you are falling with the water. Wonderful feeling of movement.

As you rightly mentioned, the first image really show the raw power of nature and in the second one we would get a chance to understand the scale.

Both do have their advantages – hard to pick one over the other.
Tough choice but I go with the first one. And although I am often a fan of black & white I think the color really adds to this one.
Both beautiful Liz, but the first is my fav!
