Beautiful, Liz! Is that Virginia creeper? Didn’t know that it grows in SA. I’m always surprised to see posts from southernmost bloggers that it is autumn there, reminding me of the ever-circular seasons. Marvelous!
Well spotted, Eliza…. Virginia creeper grows well here and thankfully although an ‘alien’ it isn’t invasive. Autumn’s a well awaited season being the start of the rainy weather, and hooray it’s been raining today. We need the water.
Thanks Gilly, Love this time of year, the colours and the best weather here in the Cape – and gearing up for our ‘green’ winters soon the rains will fall 🙂
Beautiful reds.
Thanks for commenting Colline, there are so many shades of red now…. and the aloes and red hot pokers are right in their prime 🙂

I wish it would rain here, it has been a very dry May in New England.
Gorgeous rich colours 🙂
