I’ve never seen anything like this one before. I really love the red colour of the unopened flowers in the centre and the way this is echoed around the edges of the open flowers.
Love the way nature mixes up her colours and this red really brings out the features. It’s a rhizome, and the red colour comes through brightly (like cochineal) to the bulbous part too. All quite intriguing 🙂
