Today is World Environment Day and I’d like to pay tribute to Nature Conservation Corp’s baboon monitors, who play a crucial role in baboon management.   A chill wind heralds in a cold front, and the chaps are in for a wet day as the squall line approaches.   The job is physically demanding, but they stick it out through rain and sunshine.  Here they warn motorists to slow down as the baboons idle at the side of the road.  Baboons are part of our rich fauna and flora heritage and contribute towards environment diversity.
