Thanks Uday…. i’ve started to get more in tune with the essence of light. Kind of keeping in with nature’s moods. The play of light on the water is ever changing, i love it’s nuance. I see that you have a keen eye…. love that “Drifting away” shot. Gorgeous, ethereal, that dark background and just enough light to capture that puff of smoke 🙂
Thanks for the comment 🙂 The bay faces into the rising sun so we’re used to getting glorious light on the water, but these colors were unusually muted in that they were sunset rays reflected off the underside of the clouds, almost coppery hued 🙂
The first picture is my favorite. The shining water from the sunset’s light is so beautifully captured. Its like an emulsion! So smooth and wonderfully glossy 🙂
LOVE the first one Liz! Such amazing light 🙂

You’ve captured the light spendidly!
Thanks Gilly, it was quite beguiling…
Takes me to the place, and time beautifully.
Lovely…. i hope on the wings of light?
Love the muted colors in this impending sky.

… yes, almost like an oil slick; it was a very different hue to sunset’s norm; coppery.
