Refraction

Rainbow at sunset
Rainbow at sunset

The storm started brewing in the late afternoon, and a strange festering atmosphere built up.  Just managed to get a couple of shots as the sun broke through and then the rain came pelting down.

WPC: Refraction.   Pop over to the Kevin’s challenge to see other examples of this week’s photos.

  1. Lovely atmospheric photo – well captured.

But when I tried to look at “Kevin’s Challenge” – I failed to connect! This was the message “The server at http can’t be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website’s name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network” The only explanation which seems possible is the firewall. Why should this be the case??

    Off to bed Mike

    1. It was quite an unusual lead up to a storm. Eerie too. The sun broke through the clouds and suffused the whole area – it was late afternoon, so a good angle. It didn’t last long, and I’m glad I had my camera ready, else the moment would have passed unrecorded.
