Yellow comes in such glorious tones and in this week’s photo challenge Krista writes – “Away with the colors of Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa. Show us what “yellow” means to you.” I’ve taken up the three photo essay challenge by expressing a sequence of ‘a harvesting of the sun’.
Gorgeous images! Is that lavender in the background?
Yes, it is. I even tried their lavender flavoured ice-cream 🙂
How was it?
Love, love, love sunflowers!
janet
🙂 and they have that uplifting effect.
Brilliant of you to answer the challenge by ‘harvesting the sun’ during this festive season of Light!
… lighting up rays of hope.
Sunflowers are always beautiful.
Yes that’s true, and they’re dance in a breeze 🙂
magic!
Thanks.
What’s the lavender in the background?
I’m guessing that it was the French variety of lavender … a fuller bloom? And lavender ice-cream was an item on the menu… nice colour, but weird flavour.
They sunflowers are wonderful and the lavender background works so well!
So beautiful! Happy faces. 🙂
Very lovely Liz! Happy Holidays to you!
Thank you Tina, and happy festive season to you too.
Beautiful. I’m growing them this year in the garden, I’m waiting, rather impatiently, for them to flower
Lovely, hope that they yield a good crop of seeds….
Looking good at the moment and I can almost see them growing.
