Is that snow? Where was that shot taken?
Yes well spotted! It is snow in the foreground.This is a shot from Iceland – Krafla which is a region of geothermal activity. Without vegetation it looked so like a desert and yet there were extremes of temperature- steaming fumeroles yet blanketed with patches of snow.
