Here’s a different take on the subject for this week’s photo challenge : Companionable. I greatly respect the sentient nature of baboons and looking at the view through my lens, perhaps you’ll agree that these two females look very comfortable with each other. The social structures within the troops are defined through matrilineal lines and females form close bonds throughout their lives. You’ll notice that one is heavily pregnant. Perhaps there is more to the companionable scene, but gauging the mood, one can sense their complete mellowness and familiarity with each other.

Yes, i think so too 🙂 I think that they are much better at ‘living in the moment’ than we human primates.
