    1. It was a lucky capture, they’re heading back to the Antarctic and their feeding grounds after the winter season here at our shores to calve and mate. Reckon this was a parting gift 🙂

    1. Yes, spectacular is the word! Their sheer size is always what takes one’s breath away. This was quite the most joyful of scenes … like a baby splashing in the bathtub. There may have been two adults close by, and also in the mix was a seal, porpoising and leaping about. Came away feeling elated 🙂
