Goodness! How did that house survive the fires?
A lucky escape! It was a miracle that not more homes were destroyed. The firecrews and emergency services really saved the day.
Amazing regeneration, were those homes damaged and repaired already?
The houses in the photos were spared, but a block up homes were damaged and one entirely razed to the ground. The wind was very strong that day and the fire jumped randomly over roads, houses – bombing all over. So fortunate to have good emergency services. The firecrews on the ground and also in the air – the helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft pilots really saved the day.
