They are all beautiful, and maybe usefull as well.
Yes, i guess we’ve got to look at the whole cycle, thank the moths/butterflies for their pollination services against the voracious appetites of the caterpillars?! 🙂
Normally I’m not going to look at creepy crawlies —
But somehow yours look different.
Maybe because the eyes that saw them and captured them were loving?
🙂 must admit i worry over the damage they do to my plants, but their season is not too long and then they transform into those gorgeous winged creatures!
So not what I was expecting from the post title! Great photos.
HeHe!!
Aren’t they exquisite, you’ve done a wonderful job! Where’s there is one or two there will be hundreds though, poor plants!
Yes, i’m intrigued by their gorgeous ‘couture’! But you’re right, there have been aggregations (infestations!) of the Cape Lappet, where they strip down swathes of vegetation, trees.
pics look beautiful by yaiaakaikkkkks!!! I don’t like those creepy crawlies….. 😦
You make me smile….!
You make me smile…!
Fascinating little guys.
Yes, with wonderful patterns and defensive design. 🙂
wow, these are great!
I simply love these! Especially the hairy ones. But the little green one with a tail is heartbreakingly look -a -like my late dachshund…
Yes, the hairy have style! Sorry for reminding you of your late dachshund.. that’s an unexpected similarity. But i get the connection with the same sort of stocky back end shape.
