Following up on the mystery “Abstracts” which i posted yesterday are revealed here today – a stand of Eucalyptus trees inspired the frames. Amazing how one can ‘paint’ with a camera :).

they really so paint loveliness
Yes it really is amazing.
Good to know. They were lovely abstract shots. Thanks M
Wow, amazing; love the abstracts, love the eucalyptus!
Are they Karri’s btw?
I’m not sure; will have to have a good look next time. I wasn’t aware that there were so many different species. The abstracted colours from the bark may be a clue? The blueish, pinkish casts with the cream and brown may suggest otherwise? Interestingly we have quite a few old gum trees planted in colonial times in our area. Off to go and investigate!
Dammit! My guess was wrong!
I was also wrong, and you and you camera painted really well!
me three
I agree. sometimes we can “paint” well with a camera… and then sometimes we need to just soak in the moment. If you have the time… check out this song by Relient K. it motivated me a lot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfGBEJfT4tE
Thanks for the link Darrel and the good advice; we get too caught up in ‘documenting’ our view. There’s a text abbreviation here FOMO – fear of missing out!
Fabulous image. 🙂 Nature does the best abstracts.
True, her palette and renderings are so multifold 🙂
